Summer Musical

The 35th annual Summer Musical provides students the opportunity to immerse themselves in fine arts and culture through a Broadway-style production. Beyond receiving exposure to the arts, students who participate also develop confidence, character, teamwork, and many other valuable lifelong skills. 😊

The Summer Musical is one way we bring the EVSC Foundation vision to life: a transformed community where every student enjoys meaningful access to world-class learning experiences that prepare them to succeed in school and beyond. One of the coolest things about the Summer Musical is that all proceeds of the event fund scholarships, grants, and professional student experiences—further enhancing public education in our community!

This year, EVSC Foundation is proud to bring you the 35th Summer Musical: The Addams Family School Edition. Show dates are July 13-16 in the Aiken Theatre in Old National Events Plaza.

What’s Next? Auditions!

This year, in an effort to make the program more accessible to all students, auditions will be held at each of the EVSC High Schools as well as The Academy for Innovative Studies (AIS) – Diamond Avenue.

All current 8th – 12th grade students plan on auditioning at your district high school. If you are an Alternative EVSC Program student or a Non-EVSC Student your auditions will be held at AIS.

Auditions will be held:

Your participation and financial contributions to the Summer Musical have value for our community’s young people, and for you! There are a few different ways you can show your support, including individual or corporate sponsorships and program advertisements (details below).

Along with supporting exceptional student experiences, sponsorships have many perks! Sponsorships include tickets for a performance; reach thousands of people through social media promotions, signage, and marketing; are featured in the event’s printed program; and garner community affinity by supporting education!

Corporate Sponsorship Levels:

  • Grand Benefactor – $8,000
  • Benefactor – $5,000
  • Performance Sponsor – $3,000 (per performance)

Individual Sponsorship Levels:

  • Premiere Society Member – $1,000
  • Partner – $500
  • Patron – $100

Program Ads

Another way you can support this extraordinary learning opportunity for students in our community is by purchasing an ad in the show’s printed program. All audience members receive a free copy of the program. Based on past numbers, we expect over 2,400 people to attend the four performances this year, so an ad in the program provides great exposure for your investment.  All ads are black and white and use artwork you provide.

Ad Sizes:

  • Full Page Ad – $600.00
  • Half-Page Ad – $350.00
  • Quarter-Page Ad – $200.00

As an example, you can check out a sample of the 2021 Cinderella program here. To download the full summer musical ad contract form that details sizes and other benefits, click here.
